Every year Autodesk releases a new version of its top product, AutoCAD. Until recently, local operations would each order new and existing promotional materials from the head office in Sweden. However, Autodesk has now started to make use of fully-automated localised promotional material.

It has been decided that print-on-demand will be used to produce all promotional materials. Thanks to MOM, all documentation, including advertisements, mail-shots and brochures, is now available online in a customised format, making it easy for individual branches, as well as local distributors and resellers, to adjust to the requirements of their own markets, while conforming to house-style rules and fixed layouts.

This is made possible through the deployment of the International Print Network, a large group of digital and offset printers selected by Sixtyseven throughout Europe and the rest of the world. With a single press of the button, all documentation is printed locally in the correct format, language and required print run in each country. This makes it easier for local branches to act more rapidly and proactively within their own markets. The major benefits of the IPN are that production is undertaken locally at local market rates, with a short time-to-market and low shipping costs.
