Challenge

Marketing activities in the ICT (information and communication technology) sector are largely sponsored by the suppliers. Tech Data assists in combining centralised supplier marketing campaigns with local campaigns by resellers. ICT company Tech Data asked Sixtyseven to provide an innovative solution for this tried and tested approach.

Approach

MOM's ChannelOne application, developed in-house by Sixtyseven, was tailored to Tech Data's requirements. It enables Tech Data resellers to deploy marketing activities via the internet and allows them to give material used in both print and e-mail campaigns a professional design. Neutral messages are available for this purpose, with links to a database containing Tech Data's product range. The resellers can adapt many aspects of the messages. The material is fully personalised and printed digitally in exactly the right quantities. A campaign only costs the reseller five minutes of his time.  

Result

In the space of a year, some 600 resellers have already used this system and the number of participating suppliers has increased to 15. The application is increasing Tech Data's market lead even further and is continuing to generate a wealth of marketing information.
